Installing PictServerPro


Installation of PictServerPro is very straightforward. It can be installed anywhere on the web server and still function properly. Early versions of our shareware product had to be installed in the root directory of the web system, but this problem has been fixed in later versions of the shareware product, and all versions of this product.

Simply copy the application into the desired directory and run the program. Do NOT let the web server call the program without running it for the first time.

When run for the first time, you will be presented with the registration screen.

Either enter the registration number sent to you by PLR Software, or click on the "Not Yet" button. If you click on the "Not Yet" button you will be given 100 free images to try out the program.

After 100 images are served, a label will be placed on all subsequent images notifying the viewer that the program is unregistered,

If you enter a valid registration umber and press "OK", you should never see this screen again.

Once the screen is dismissed, you can then allow the web server to make calls to the program. If you do not dismiss this screen, all requests will be ignored and the users will experience a timeout.

If you press "Cancel" the program will quit and no images can then be served.
